It was Wednesday, the 25th March 2026 at 21:54 CST, when I saw this message from the father – “his heart is not beating”. The message came out of nowhere, because the same morning, we were informed that Jonathan’s oxygenation was at optimum levels, his blood report was great and that they were about to start feeding him mother’s milk soon!
But God had other plans for Jonathan, for his parents and everyone else who were even remotely involved with Jonathan’s situation.
This happened after two major miraculous events that made everyone’s eyes open wide in astonishment…
The first one was on 18th March, 2026, when there was no hope for Jonathan and his parents were forced to give up on trying to save him. I have documented this in my previous blog post – “Witnessing Strong Faith, Prayers & a Miracle in making…“. But God was merciful, and the next morning, it was a miracle… Jonathan’s situation turned upside down, with little to no intervention from the hospital staff. Everyone, from the attending doctors, to the nurses were surprised and acknowledged that it was a miracle and had a divine intervention.
Then the next one, was more terrifying than the first. On 17th Mar, 2026, at 19:12 CST, the father texted – “we have 24 hours before we completely lose Jonathan“, as Jonathan had gone into hypoxia and stayed there for a whole day. And yet again, through God’s abounding mercy and love, we witnessed a greater miracle. The following morning, at around 5:00 AM CST, Jonathan had almost revived. The main doctor had stated this – “his blood report is not just better, it’s PERFECT” and attributed this purely to God.
On 25th March, 2026, however, it was not the same. Jesus had decided to take Jonathan into His loving arms!
But despite all of this, the one thing that everyone observed and acknowledged was the “unshaken faith” of Jonathan’s father and unbelievably more so, of Jonathan’s mother. In every dreadful situation, their faith only increased. In every moment, they relied on Jesus! Even when both of them were shattered from the inside, we could only witness their STRONG FAITH. Even to this day as I’m writing this documentary.
This was the father’s statement in his eulogy – Jonathan, in the 25 days of his beautiful life in this world, did more than most of them would do in 25 years. He united the members of the body of Christ in a way none could imagine.
Jonathan brought “me”… down on my knees in prayer; and closer to Christ, in a way like never before. When my own faith was on trial and tested, instead of asking… “Why Lord?”, I was able to humble myself and say… “According to Your Will, Lord!”.
But more than anything, Jonathan’s grandfather, a Hindu and a devout Hanuman “bhakth”, got a vision of Jesus holding Jonathan in His loving arms (yes… that’s this blog’s feature image on the top), twice… during his morning meditation to Hanuman the day before Jonathan passed. Jonathan’s situation, made him rely on Christ by asking a Christian colleague, this very question – “How do I pray to Jesus!”
How much more of a blessing could Jonathan have been?
I’m reminded of this scripture – “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” – 2 Timothy 4:7 ESV
However, the burden of Jonathan’s parents… both emotionally and financially continue.
